PIRATED COPIES OF Question and Answer BOOKS
I am aware that some low life has scanned in the Motor EK Q &A books and made pirate copies which are now distributed at some of the marine colleges. However, please be aware that I have intercepted this pirated distribution, and altered some of the answers so they are wholly inaccurate and full of mistakes and deliberately redistributed it. You may well be in possession of one of these altered books. How will you know? You won't, not without checking every page. I have been continually altering and redistributing it, so even if you think your copy is a recent one it could be one of my altered ones. You will find out when you fail the exam (and you deserve to) or tell the examiner at your orals a ridiculous statement which you believe to be true, but he will laugh at before failing you.
The Q & A books are, I believe very fairly priced at £25 including P&P and are updated after each examination. It is a small price to pay for the information which is immediately available at your fingertips. and a fraction of the cost of a resit fee. If you really feel that you cannot afford the £25 then email me and explain your circumstances and make me an offer for the book. The condition being that you must send the money in cash and the book will be sent by ordinary post.
To the thieving scum (yes that's what you are, and I'd say it to your face if I met you) who copied or distributed or used the pirated books, I hope you failed miserably. I'm a great believer in Karma (The doctrine of fate as the inflexible result of cause and effect; the theory of inevitable consequence. “what goes around comes around”).
Marinediesels.co.uk is not an international organisation. I run it single handed and it costs money. The profit from the books goes towards the running costs, research etc. If the source of income dries up, the website closes. That's it. Finish. No more help, no more books. Because of the activity of the aforementioned lowlife, I am withholding the release of the General EK question and answer book.
So its up to you really. If you have fellow students using pirated copies, then point out to them this web page. Print it off and show it to them.
